Montrer qu'on ne peut pas trouver de solution de

\(X'(t)=\displaystyle{\left(\begin{array}{cccccc}2 & 1 \\-5 & -4 \end{array}\right)X(t)+\left[\begin{array}{cc}t\exp(t) \\0\end{array}\right]}\)

sous la forme \(\displaystyle{\left[\begin{array}{cc}at+b \\ ct+d\end{array}\right]\exp(t)}\)

Résoudre l'équation en cherchant une solution comportant des polynômes du second degré

Solution détaillée

Equation \(X'(t)=\displaystyle{\left(\begin{array}{cccccc}2 & 1 \\-5 & -4 \end{array}\right)X(t)+\left[\begin{array}{cc}t\exp(t) \\0\end{array}\right]}\)

Si on cherche une solution de la forme \(X(t)=\displaystyle{\left[\begin{array}{cc}at+b \\ ct+d\end{array}\right]\exp(t)}\) , alors on doit avoir \(X'(t)=\displaystyle{\left[\begin{array}{cc}at+b+a \\ ct+d+c\end{array}\right]\exp(t)}\) et \(\displaystyle{\left(\begin{array}{cccccc}2 & 1 \\-5 & -4 \end{array}\right)X(t)+\left[\begin{array}{ccccc}t\exp(t) \\0\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{lllll}(2a+c+1)t+2b+d+t \\ (-5a-4c)t-5b-4d\end{array}\right]\exp(t)}\) donc en identifiant ces deux expressions on trouve qu'on devrait avoir \(2a + c+ 1\) = a et \(-5a - 4c = c\), soit à la fois \(a + c = -1\) et \(a + c = 0\). Donc c'est impossible.

Remarque : cette impossibilité est due au fait que l'équation homogène possède déjà des solutions de la forme \(X(t)=\exp(t)V\)

On cherche alors une solution de la forme \(X(t)=\displaystyle{\left[\begin{array}{cc}at^2+bt+c \\ dt^2+et+f\end{array}\right]\exp(t)}\) et on trouve \(X(t)=\displaystyle{\left[\begin{array}{cc}\frac{5}{8}t^2-\frac{1}{16}t \\ -\frac{5}{8}t^2+\frac{5}{16}t\end{array}\right]\exp(t)}\)

De plus, la solution générale du système homogène est \(\displaystyle{X(t)=K\exp(-3t)\left[\begin{array}{cccccc}1\\-5\end{array}\right]+L\exp(t)\left[\begin{array}{cccccc}1\\-1\end{array}\right]}\)

donc finalement la solution générale du système non homogène est \(\displaystyle{X(t)=\left[\begin{array}{cc}(\frac{5}{8}t^2-\frac{1}{16}t+L)\exp(t)+K\exp(-3t) \\(-\frac{5}{8}t^2-\frac{5}{16}t-L)\exp(t)-5K\exp(-3t)\end{array}\right]}\)
