Notations
Exemple :
La forme \(\mathcal{F}\) étant positive, on définit la norme de \(\mathcal{F}\) : \(|| \mathcal{F} || = \sqrt{\langle f | f \rangle}\)
\(\displaystyle{\langle f | f \rangle = \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T f(t) . \overline{f(t)} . \mathrm{d}t}\)
\(\displaystyle{\langle \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_m.\theta} | \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_n.\theta} \rangle = \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_m.\theta} . \mathrm{e}^{-\mathrm{i}.q_n.\theta} . \mathrm{d}\theta = \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.(q_m - q_n).\theta} . \mathrm{d}\theta}\)
Alors :
\(q_m = q_n ~~~~ \Rightarrow ~~ \displaystyle{\langle \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_m.\theta} | \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_n.\theta} \rangle = \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T \mathrm{d}\theta = 1}\)
\(q_m \ne q_n ~~~~ \Rightarrow ~~\displaystyle{\langle \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_m.\theta} | \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_n.\theta} \rangle = \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.(m - n).q_1.\theta} \mathrm{d}\theta = \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i} . 2 \pi . \frac{m-n}{T}. \theta}\mathrm{d}\theta}\)
Mais \(\mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i} . 2 \pi . \frac{m-n}{T}. \theta}\) est une fonction de période \(\frac{T}{m-n}\) (sous-multiple de \(T\), car \(m-n\) est un entier) qui reprend donc les mêmes valeurs en \(0\) et en \(T\).
\(\langle \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_m.\theta} | \mathrm{e}^{\mathrm{i}.q_n.\theta} \rangle = 0\)
Alors : \(\forall f \in \mathbf{E}\),
\(\displaystyle{f = \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} f_q . e^{(q)} = \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} \langle f | e^{(q)} \rangle ~ e^{(q)}}\)
et \(~~ \displaystyle{||f||^2 = \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} | \langle f | e^{(q)} \rangle} |\)
(théorème admis sans démonstration)
Corollaire :
\(\displaystyle{\langle f | g \rangle = \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} f_q . \overline{g_q} = \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} \langle f | e^{(q)} \rangle . \langle e^{(q)} | g \rangle }\)
Démonstration :
\(\begin{array}{lll}\langle f | g \rangle & = & \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T f(t) . \overline{g(t)} . \mathrm{d}t \\ & = & \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T \mathrm{ } \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} f_q . e^{(q)} . \overline{g} . \mathrm{d}t \\ & = & \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} f_q . \frac{1}{T} \int_0^T e^{(q)} . \overline{g} . \mathrm{d}t \\ & = & \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} f_q . \overline{g_q} \\ & = & \sum_{q = - \infty}^{q = + \infty} \langle f | e^{(q)} \rangle . \langle e^{(q)} | g \rangle\end{array}\)
